Danny Riley guides us.
Danny started as a runner at the Chicago Board of Trade in the late 1970s. In 1985 he moved to the S&P at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he helped build one of the largest S&P order desks on the floor; one of its customers was Marty “The Pit Bull” Schwartz. He has been in the futures markets for more than four decades, in the pits and on the screens.
While still on the floor he started MrTopStep, which gives January 2009 as its launch. The name comes from the pits of the Chicago Board of Trade, where the most senior member stood on the top step. Every trading day Danny publishes the Opening Print, his read on the market.

When are you live?
Every day the New York Stock Exchange is open, Monday to Friday. We start around 9:00 to 9:30 AM New York time, and there is no fixed end: how long we stay changes from day to day. On US market holidays the room is closed.
